This year has really been one that will go down in history, but maybe not in the way you think. Even though the circumstances are different, and COVID-19 restrictions are overwhelming right now, Balmoral Hall School still feels like home. We have never had to be more innovative in how we create that feeling of hominess with everything going on.
From creating physically distanced events to celebrate 2020 graduates, to remote learning and events like our first-ever virtual Opening Assembly, and most importantly the ability for us to attend school safely this fall, I have to say we have never been more efficient online than we are now.
Balmoral Hall School has always had an amazing community of students, faculty, and alumnae! No matter where we go or where we end up, Balmoral Hall will always be a big part of our lives since it became our community and home for at least one, up to 15, or any number of years in between.
Applying to universities and thinking about the future feels unreal, and honestly, like many of my peers, I still have no idea what I want to do. Especially this year, it would be a huge help to us to connect with alumnae. We would appreciate your perspectives as former students on how you found your paths and your experiences from Grade 12 to first-year university. If you are ever available to chat or just want to revisit memories or see these halls once again, even virtually, please don’t hesitate to contact us! We would love to hear from you and hear about your lives!
We hope everyone is doing well and stay safe!
