BHPA President's Message

“A grand adventure is about to begin.”  —Winnie-the-Pooh

August 17, 2020

As the proud father of two wonderful young ladies, Ellie (Grade 4) and Jolie (Grade 2), and on behalf of Balmoral Hall Parent Association, I would like to welcome you and your daughters to the 2020–21 school year.

Over the past few months, many of us have had to adapt to a new normal. The BHPA Executive is working hard with our members, our school, and our community to support our students to learn and grow in this new environment. With every new challenge presented to us comes an opportunity to improve.

Our mission is to work as a partner with Balmoral Hall School to promote and enrich students‘ educational experiences by fostering a strong sense of community through parental, caregiver, and extended family involvement.

Whether your daughter attends BH Beginnings or is in her last year of Senior School, we continue to strive to provide an inclusive environment for all. The BHPA promotes volunteerism to enhance the school life of the entire Balmoral Hall community.

BHPA events will look different this year, but rest assured that our team of volunteers is already actively planning fun-filled activities for 2020–2021.

I encourage you to follow us on Instagram @bhpa_communications and like us on Facebook @balmoralhallschoolparentassociation to stay up-to-date on news and events.

Lastly, please get involved! I have found great joy in participating in my daughters’ school life by volunteering at Open Houses and hosting annual Grade Parties. We have a place for everyone at the table, no matter how much or little time one has to give.

We look forward to meeting you soon.

Sincerely,

Carey Lai
