COVID-19 REQUIREMENTS & EXEMPTIONS
As of January 1, 2022, Balmoral Hall School will require official documentation from all boarding students confirming they are fully immunized against COVID-19.
At the time of enrolment, boarding students will be asked to provide proof of vaccination.
All travellers are eligible to enter Canada if they qualify as a fully vaccinated traveller regardless of citizenship.
Fully vaccinated foreign nationals can enter Canada for discretionary travel if they meet the following requirements:
- Are asymptomatic.
- Meet pre-entry testing and all other entry requirements.
- Are fully vaccinated with a Government of Canada accepted vaccine series.
- Have submitted their mandatory information to ArriveCAN, including proof of vaccination.
The Government of Canada specifies which vaccines will be accepted to qualify as a fully vaccinated traveller to Canada. Travellers entering Canada, regardless of citizenship, must follow testing and quarantine requirements to keep everyone safe. Fully vaccinated travellers, including international students, are exempt from some of these requirements.
[UPDATE] As of November 26, 2021, foreign nationals who have been in the Southern Africa region within the previous 14 days, including South Africa, Eswatini, Lesotho, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, and Namibia, will not be permitted entry into Canada.
