Luck knocked on my door in 2018 as Balmoral Hall School gave me the opportunity to work first as an advancement administrative assistant and then as a philanthropy & admissions specialist.
I am grateful that I can work in a caring learning environment here in Canada. I graduated from a Chinese university with a Bachelor of Arts and became a high school teacher in my hometown. There, I found my passion for education, and so I decided to further study it. In Australia, I obtained my Master of Education from University of New South Wales. I also lived in France for two years to learn French and discovered more about different cultures. As an administrative employee, student advisor, and teacher at a Chinese university, I learned more about the concerns of students and parents. Now, at Balmoral Hall School, I help parents and also students when they want to know more about philanthropy and admissions.
I believe in all-girls education. Every day, the girls waving their hands and smiling at me make me feel so happy to be here. I see girls having more opportunities here, and they are educated to be bold here.
I am looking forward to when my daughter will begin her learning journey here at Balmoral Hall School this September!
