In Grade 10, I came to Balmoral Hall School to play on the hockey team. However, I stayed for the close-knit and supportive community. Being at Balmoral Hall School has helped me to build leadership skills and take greater risks.
I am going into my third year of law school at McGill University. Since graduating from Western University with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Political Science (Gold Medal), I have gained a wide range of experience in policy, outreach, and research at local, national, and international levels. Currently a student clerk at the Court of King’s Bench of Manitoba with Chief Justice Joyal, I continue to stay involved in the Balmoral Hall community by volunteering with Balmoral Hall School Foundation’s Board of Directors and on student panel interviews.
As a Girl of Promise, I look forward to giving back throughout my career; specifically, I hope to donate back to the school more than what was given to my family. As Class of 2017 Head Girl, I always knew I would stay involved with the Balmoral Hall School community because this was such an important time in my family’s life.
