In light of this Winnipeg Free Press article from May 6, you may be wondering about the ECERS-R score that BH Beginnings received.
In light of this Winnipeg Free Press article from May 6, you may be wondering about the ECERS-R score that BH Beginnings received, and, considering the average score for Manitoba daycares was 4.7, I am proud to announce we achieved an incredibly high score of 6.41 (out of a possible 7).

ECERS-R is one of the most widely used resources to help early childhood programs examine their environment and learning program. As mandated by Manitoba Early Learning and Child Care Program (MELCCP), a child care coordinator does a lengthy observation of each daycare's staff, program, and more. ECERS-R is a quality enhancement scale that is divided into a total of 43 sections encompassing space and furnishings, personal care routines, language and reasoning, activities, interactions, program structure, parents, and staff. It is a clear scale in that you only get credit for what is seen, not what is planned.

We take pride in offering the children who attend BH Beginnings a program of excellence that inspires an enriched and rewarding educational experience. With space still available for 2015/16, the time is now to share our exceptional child care services with prospective families. Click here to learn more about BH Beginnings.
