On Tuesday, Hilary Potts from Ivey Business School and Eric Jensen, Ivey alumnus and the parent of a BH girl, delivered a presentation about the incredible experience of studying at University of Western Ontario.
First and foremost, from their presentation it was evident that this programs is one to consider! Highly ranked, taught by experts in the field, and providing experiential learning, the Ivey program sets students up for a successful career in business. Prospective students to the Ivey program demonstrate leadership and a range of extracurricular activities. They work well on collaborative assignments and are academically strong. These factors lead to strong participation and most importantly contribution to the Ivey classroom. Students interested in entering Ivey must complete two years in another program thereby making the Ivey experience one that shares diverse perspectives in the learning environment.
Mr. Jensen, along with Balmoral Hall alumnae who have attended Ivey, are quite proud of their experience there, and they willingly share information with students. If you missed the presentation, please contact me for more information. Also, look for information to come about opportunities with Ivey's High School Case Competition and more.
