On Wednesday, Sept. 30, students and staff are invited to participate in Orange Shirt Day in the spirit of reconciliation. Orange Shirt Day is an opportunity for governments, schools, and communities to discuss the history of residential schools, the impact on children taken from their homes and a chance to pass on learning to future generations. More information can be found at www.orangeshirtday.org. Students are to wear an orange shirt with jeans or leggings. Students who are not participating will be required to wear their uniform to school as usual.
