Personalized university preparation, including alumnae mentorship, begins in Grade 8. In preparing for their academic and professional futures, BH girls make well-researched, informed decisions. Language studies, peer tutoring, and classes in SAT, ACT, and IELTS preparation are available at Balmoral Hall School.
A dedicated team of full- and part-time staff works closely with students to encourage participation in the boarding curriculum. For example, students complete meaningful volunteer hours each year. Balmoral Hall fosters a supportive boarding environment based on caring, connection, and community.
Expanding cultural awareness, furthering their independence, and developing a variety of healthful habits, boarding students achieve success beyond the classroom; they discover their full potential.
According to studies by National Coalition of Girls' Schools (NCGS), girls in a single-sex learning environment are more likely to pursue a career in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics. Traditionally, STEM careers have been dominated by men. Providing a rigorous science, tech, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM) education, with an emphasis on STEM and the integration of visual and performing arts, BH girls deepen their learning, expand their thinking, and prepare for their careers of choice.
At Balmoral Hall School, we are building a community that will help girls acquire the skills they need to pursue their purpose no matter what it is or where it takes them.
