Junior School Student ServicesBack to Junior School main page Extended Day Program – Nursery to Grade 57:30 - 8:30 a.m. & 3:30 - 5:30 p.m. Students in Nursery to Grade 5 who arrive early in the morning attend a supervised study room in Junior School until 8:30 a.m. at which time students may go outside until the bell rings. This room is open at 7:30 a.m. and is located in the Junior School. The Extended Day Program is also available for Nursery to Grade 5 students from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m., and offers a snack break, story time, outdoor playtime, crafts, games and movies. These activities are supervised by qualified staff. If, for some reason, parents are unable to pick up their child by 4:00 p.m. on any given day, they must phone the office by noon and we will see that their child attends the Extended Day Program. There is a fee charged for the after-school Extended Day Program. Should an early dismissal occur, as in the case of Parent-Teacher Interviews, Extended Day is offered. Due to the large number of students who attend on these days, a half-day Extended Day fee is charged. Student StoreThe Student Store is located on Main Street in the school’s Atrium. In addition to selling the complete Balmoral Hall School uniform, the store carries accessories such as duffle bags, backpacks, hair items and lunch kits. Any profits generated by sales in the Student Store go back into the School to enhance student life. The store is run with volunteers and any offers to work a shift in the store would be greatly appreciated. |
