Patrons of Sifton Family Theatre may have recently noticed a transformation in the atrium. Thanks to Keith Levit, a professional photographer who is the father of three BH girls, a series of photos now adorns much of the wall space. This one-of-a-kind exhibition, "Girls of Our World," features more than two dozen photographs of girls Mr. Levit has met through his world travels in the last 25 years.
"As a photographer, I travel to remote places, and what I have learned is that to appreciate a country is to understand its culture by interacting with people," he says. "I have chosen Balmoral Hall as the gallery for 'Girls of Our World' because I want to share this passion with others, considering how BH girls demonstrate the value of global awareness."
We wish to express our gratitude to Mr. Levit, as well as his daughters Vanessa Comeau '09 and Marina Levit, Grade 9, whose photographic works hang in the halls outside Balmoral Hall School's Centre for Learning. In fact, Mr. Levit shares photos of polar bears with children while travelling. We are truly honoured to be part of this incredible narrative.
Thank you, Mr. Levit, Vanessa, and Marina, on behalf of the BH family.
