School Visit

Before submitting an application, families may choose to visit the school during the day. Open Houses are held three times a year. Guided tours can also be arranged by calling the Director of Admissions at (204) 784-1621 or sending an email to the Admissions Office.

Application Form & Fees

Return the application form with a non-refundable application fee of $50.00. A letter will be sent from the school to acknowledge your application and provide further information.

The Application Form and Fees are in the Admissions Package, now available for download in PDF format, using Adobe Acrobat Reader.

You may also contact the Director of Admissions at (204) 784-1621 or email the Admissions Office to request an application form (see above notice regarding our email system upgrade).

Entrance Day

All applicants will write examinations assessing reading and mathematical skills on Entrance Day. Applicants will also be interviewed by a faculty member and have an opportunity to attend classes with current students in the afternoon.

Interview

Parents will have the opportunity to meet with either the Head of School or the Principals of Middle and/or Senior School on Entrance Day.

Documents Required

A copy of the applicant's most recent report card or official transcript must be returned along with the testing fee of $100.00 before Entrance Day. Balmoral Hall School will provide the following for completion and return:

• Parent questionnaire
• Student questionnaire
• Recommendation forms to be returned by current English and Math teachers

Acceptance

Letters will be mailed in early spring indicating acceptance for September. Information regarding the awarding of scholarships and bursaries will be included at that time.

Registration

The signed registration form, enrollment contract, and deposit of $1000.00 are required by the deadline date to confirm registration of your daughter at Balmoral Hall School.
