Junior School at Balmoral Hall starts with Nursery and continues through Grade 5. Junior School is very much a part of the Nursery-Grade 12 "BH Family", but also has a life of its own.

The Junior School staff creates an environment where each child feels valued, secure and willing to take a risk. We develop children who are capable of becoming independent learners, who are confident, and empowered to achieve their personal best.

Junior School provides a balanced program, which focuses on six areas that encompass the BH education including Academics, The Arts, Athletics, Co-Curricular Activities, Personal Management and Global Awareness.

We continue to enhance our program by using the "best practices" of teaching and learning to create student centered classrooms.

The Junior School program is designed to respond to a girls learning style with an emphasis on activities and cooperative learning, hands on activities, and developing critical thinking skill. Students are encouraged to utilize creative problem solving skills, and apply knowledge and information.
