What Your Gift Can Support
The Annual Fund seeks funds to enhance many areas of school life:
The Head’s Fund - these unrestricted gifts support the greatest need of the school.
The Centennial Endowment Fund - Professionally managed by The Winnipeg Foundation, all donations directed to this fund will allow BH to increase financial assistance and expand the scholarship program.
Alumnae Future Generations Fund - Provides financial aid to the daughter or granddaughter of an alum.
Extras for Excellence Wish List - We have developed a Top 10 Wish List for the 2011-12 campaign. Take a peek and see what the school needs most!
Birthday Book Fund - One way to help the Library is to recognize your daughter's birthday with a donation to our Birthday Book Fund. With the funds raised, a new book is purchased which helps provide our Library with literature and multi-media resources that enrich our curriculum in all subject areas. A bookplate with your daughter's name will be inserted in the "birthday book" and your daughter will be the first to check out the book in her birthday month.
Theatre Seats - Members of the BH Family have endowed over 150 seats in the Sifton Family Theatre. Parents have named seats for their daughters, grandparents for their granddaughters, entire families have named seats, staff have named a seat for themselves, graduating classes have named a seat for their class, seats have been named in memory of loved ones, and alumnae have named seats for their favourite teacher, for themselves or their families. Engraved with the words of your choice, the name plaque will leave a permanent mark at BH. There are still some seats left! For information on how you can endow a theatre seat, please contact Geneviève Delaquis in the Advancement Office at (204) 784-1615.
Named Funds - Balmoral Hall School has a number of Named Funds you can support. To direct your annual gift to one of these funds, simply please make a note on your donation form or cheque, or include a note at the bottom of the online giving form.
