Badminton

Badminton is open to BH students in both middle and senior school. Middle and senior school badminton players meet between the months of February and late April to practice and prepare for their respective events. For middle school badminton student-athletes, they compete at the MCSAA singles tournament and at the MCSAA doubles tournament at the end of April. Senior school student-athletes compete at the Zone 12 tournament with an opportunity to qualify for the Provincial Championships in early May.

Badminton news
Congratulations to the Badminton players for winning the Zone 12 Banner this year! The teams competed on April 27 and 28. This is the 3rd year in a row that BH has won the banner for Badminton. All athletes contribute to the point tabulation as points are awarded based on placement in the tournament.
The Physical Education department would like to thank Mr. John Kerr for coaching the JV and Varsity teams this year. Emily McKnight and Tess Dusik placed 2nd overall in Girls Doubles and will be representing BH at the Provincial Badminton Tournament on May 7 and 8. Good luck girls!
