| 11-Mar-10 - Junior Competitive Regular Season ends on a high note! |
Congratulations to the Junior Competitive basketball team who ended their regular season in 1st place in the North Division by defeating Westgate 35-12 this week. Even more impressive is the fact that this team’s defense allowed the fewest points of any other team in the league, proving once again that defense really does win games! All told, including two tournaments, the team’s final record was 11 wins, 3 losses and 1 tie, with all the losses being by three points or less. After two hard fought weekends of basketball they also brought home a 1st place and a 3rd place trophy in the two tournaments they took part in. This team has much to be proud of and their hard work throughout the year has really paid off. Congratulations again to all team member and we encourage everyone to come out and support this team as they embark on their playoff run next week!

| 3-Mar-10 - Special Basketball Players Visit BH for a Tough Game! |
On March the 2, the Richardson Hall Athletic Centre was packed as the Junior Varsity and Varsity basketball teams got the chance to play a exhibition game against some amazing basketball stars. Players included a former European professional, Canadian National Team and Canadian Olympic Team players, players from two Canadian Universities (Regina and Toronto), and one of our Junior Competitive coaches and BH parent Kevin Van. The game was fast paced and exciting with dunks, three point shots and lots of cheering. The girls played very hard and the staff and students were very proud of how well they did considering the significant height differences! A big thank you to all of the staff and students who helped cheer on our teams. The players of the two BH teams would like to thank Mr. Gabriel Patterson for all of his hard work organizing this event and coaching the “too talls”, Mr. Kevin Van for playing against the girls and to Mr. Greg Flom for helping coach our girls during the game.
