The Showcase combines a learning experience providing an elite development opportunity for players with exposure to university scouts. This program brings together players with aspirations to play at the university level.  In just it's second year the Showcase is attracting more and more attention from university / college scouts, as well as players from both Canada and the US.

Players are placed on teams for the Showcase and assigned a university coach. Players will have direct contact with the coaches to develop a relationship and learn from those with experience at an elite female level. Teams are kept small to ensure each player has adequate game/ice time.  For the 2010 Showcase there will be 6 teams with a maximum of 9 forwards, 6 Defence, and 2 goalies per team.

For players born in 1993 - 1996.  Exemptions can be made for players born in 1992 or 1997.

Weekend activities will consist of:
- 6 on-ice times: 1 team practice, 1 Small Area Games, as well as a 4 game Mini-tournament.
- Buffet style meal & University Coach’s Roundtable presentations and discussions.
- High paced competitive environment for players interested in improving their performance.
- Enhancing fundamental skill development to increase individual prowess.
