| The Blazers High School Hockey program was incepted during the 2004-2005 school year as a skills development program. The following year the Blazers competed in seven exhibition games with the following year seeing the first High School Hockey team compete in exhibition play during the 2006-2007 season. During this season the High School team played 18 exhibition games against some of the best teams in the Winnipeg Women's High School Hockey League (WWHSHL) and traveled to Dryden, winning Bronze in the Northern Shield tournament as well as to Warroad, MN for exhibition play. |

The Blazers High School team then made it's debut in the WWHSHL during the 2007-2008 season. In just their first year they finished 2nd in the CTV Division, with four players named to All-Star teams, one player nominated as the division's Top Rookie, Erika Thunder winning the division's Top Goalie award, and Holly Penman was awarded the John Curry Award. During the 2008-2009 season, the Blazers were moved to Winnipeg Sun Division (highest in league) and won Bronze in the Huskies invitational tournament. For the 2009 - 2010 season the Blazers will remain in the Winnipeg Sun Division and challenge for a league championship.
