The Developmental Volleyball Program is open to grade 6 - 8 and participates in the Manitoba Catholic Athletics Association which provides a Developmental as well as a Competitive league. The intent of this league is to develop young athletes, and get them excited about the game. The emphasis is not on competition. We want all players in the Developmental league to get equal opportunity to play and experience success. Teams are determined by interest and placement in the developmental or competitive leagues is dependant on meeting the needs of the participants. The season consists of approximately 6 - 9 games and a season end tournament. Games are held on Tuesdays after school and practices are every Thursday morning before school.

The Junior Varsity Volleyball Program is open to grade 9 and 10 and participates in the Manitoba High School Athletics Association (MHSAA) in Zone 12. The intent of this league is to continue to develop young athletes while providing them an experience in a competitive yet supportive environment. Two important components of the program are the importance of commitment and the understanding of team expectations. The season runs from the beginning of the school year with tryouts in early September and concludes with MHSAA Provincials in late November. The season consists of approximately 7 - 10 games occuring on Tuesdays and Thursdays with two practices a week .

In addition to their league schedule the BH Varsity volleyball team also competes in the Western Canadian Independant School Volleyball Classic which in 2009 was hosted by Athol Murray College of Notre Dame in Wilcox, Saskatchewan.
