The Community Service and Global Awareness Pillar focuses on the IB attribute of Community Service. Students focus on global awareness, international understanding and an appreciation of cultural diversity.

During the Girls for the Cure Walk, the Grade 9 students carried jugs of water on their heads. This was done to get a sense of the responsibility that falls on the shoulders of young girls daily, in places like Malawi and Rwanda, as they walk long distances to collect clean drinking water for their families. The girls learned a valuable lesson about how hard it is to complete everyday tasks in other cultures.
