Junior School - 2010/2011
At the time of enrollment and registration, a deposit of $1,000 ($500 for Nursery) is required for each new student planning to attend Balmoral Hall School. The deposit and post-dated cheques, electronic funds transfer or credit card authorization must accompany the signed Registration and Medical Forms and Enrollment Contract. Cheques are to be made payable to Balmoral Hall School. All deposits are applied directly to tuition, are non-refundable and cannot be used as a credit against other monies owing.

Option B includes an additional $25 interest charge and Option C includes interest calculated monthly at 1.5%. If tuition is paid by credit card, please add 2% to the above-noted fees.
Junior School (Nursery to Grade 5) tuition fees include: academic program, school supplies, textbooks, homework diaries and portfolio binders.
Expenses not included in the Junior tuition fees consist of, but are not limited to: school uniform and optional accessories, school pictures, skating equipment, the BH yearbook, school-organized projects and special school/athletic trips, tutoring, private lessons, Lunch Program, Dining Hall or Student Store purchases, English as an Additional Language (EAL), Child Care (Extended Day or Daycare) programs, accident or health insurance, Tuition Refund Plan (TRP), Bus Service, and the Parent Association membership.
Middle & Senior School - 2010/2011

Expenses not included in the Middle & Senior tuition fees consist of, but are not limited to: school uniform and optional accessories, school accessories (rings/pictures/jackets), hockey registration fee, skating and hockey equipment, art and school supplies, locks, the BH yearbook, school-organized projects and special school/athletic trips, tutoring, private lessons, external examinations, Lunch Program, Dining Hall or Student Store purchases, English as an Additional Language (EAL), accident or health insurance, Tuition Refund Plan (TRP), Bus Service, and the Parent Association membership.
International Fees

Bus Service
Commencing September, 2010, Balmoral Hall School will offer an optional city-wide bus service on major routes for students in Kindergarten to Grade 12. Enjoy the convenience of drop-off and pick-up for a flat annual rate of $1,200. Please contact the Director of Business Services at 784-1600 ext. 620 for further details.

Family Plan
A reduction in tuition is available for families with three or more children registered in a current school year. A 10% tuition fee discount will be allowed for the third child and 50% for the fourth child. The discount will be applied to the fees of the youngest sibling enrolled.
Child Care Expenses
Tuition fees paid to an independent school for children attending Nursery, Junior Kindergarten and Kindergarten may qualify as child care expenses. Nursery and Junior Kindergarten tuitions are 100% tax-deductible and Kindergarten is 57.4% tax-deductible. The portion of tuition fees that relate to care and supervision of children outside normal school hours for children 16 years of age and under may also qualify for child care expenses. Receipt letters for calendar year tuition will be issued in February.
