Admissions

Are you interested in sending your daughter to Balmoral Hall School?

The best way to get to know Balmoral Hall School is to visit the school when it is in session. We want you to see our exceptional facilities, which make BH an outstanding place to learn. We also want you to meet our teachers and students, who give Balmoral Hall School its sense of vitality and community. Tours can be arranged before or after filing an application.

In addition to providing individual tours, the school holds three Open Houses each year. The Head of School, Principals of Junior, Middle and Senior Schools and Faculty are available at all open houses to provide detailed information. A tour of the classrooms, the school and its various facilities are conducted by current BH students. We want you to feel "at home" right from the start!

For more information on all girls education, please visit the National Coalition of Girls' Schools website.

Applications
Arrangements can be made to assess or test applicants year-round. Acceptance is based on space available in the requested grade, among other factors.

For further information, please call the Director of Admissions, Pamela McGhie at (204) 784-1600 ext. 621. You can also email the Admissions Office.

The admissions process is designed to assist potential students, their parents and Balmoral Hall School to make an informed and appropriate decision on enrollment. We want to get to know the applicants and we would like the students and their parents to become familiar with the School, its programs and educational philosophy.

The School's decision to accept a student is based on a number of factors, including academic potential, previous academic achievement, qualities of citizenship, extra-curricular accomplishments and the availability of space in each class. Special consideration may be given to qualified applicants who are siblings of students currently attending or who have had a member of their family attend Balmoral Hall School.
