Great White North Hockey Tournament
Your team is invited to participate in the Second Annual Invitational Balmoral Hall Great White North Hockey Tournament running from April 11 to April 13, 2008 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. This tournament features top competition and will be showcasing some of the best female hockey players across Western Canada.
The Norwood Hotel and the Howard Johnson Hotel would like to welcome all participants of the Balmoral Hall Great White North Hockey Tournament and are pleased to offer a tournament rate to participants. Please click on Hotel page for more details.
The Balmoral Hall Great White North Hockey Tournament is a Hockey Manitoba/Hockey Canada sanctioned event. The tournament fee is $1,000 CDN. per team. The tournament format offers a five-game guarantee. No admission is charged to spectators. The format includes two 15 minute and one 20 minute stop time periods. Tournament programs will be available. The tournament cell phone for questions during the tournament will be 1-204-782-4695.
Only certified Hockey Manitoba referees will be used and qualified medical staff will be present at all games. The games will be played at three different rinks in the North West corner of Winnipeg and are located within a few kilometers from the tournament hotel.
Balmoral Hall School will also be hosting a Wine & Cheese Reception for Team Officials and College Scouts. It will be held at Aikins House, 630 Westminster Avenue, Winnipeg, MB at 6:30 p.m. on April 12, 2008. Please RSVP to Ginny Lechman.
